Why I started Lit by Light
I thought my life was pretty ordinary —and that I had no (interesting) story to share. Then I realized, that's because the story that I am destined to tell is not about me, but rather the light of life. So that makes me an ordinary person lit by an extraordinary light.
Lit by Light was born from a deeply personal journey of seeking higher energy, spiritual growth, and authentic transformation. For years, I felt called to shift my focus from the noise of daily distractions toward the quiet, powerful work of intrinsic energy restoration and self-unity. Along this path, I learned to interpret what I call the "language of light"—the divine energy that speaks through guidance, imagination, thoughts, energetic shifts, and soulful synchronicity. This journey ultimately led me to a transformative spiritual retreat, a turning point that inspired not only the creation of this brand but also the birth of a new version of myself: Kali Denise.
This reborn version of myself was only visible within me. And I told myself, "You are the only mirror for the vision within you. If you don’t reflect your dreams, they will never be seen outside of you." I filled the walls of my sacred spaces (mentally and physically) with visual reminders that inspired fulfillment. This is the purpose of Lit by Light's creations.
